60 Minutes...

Not the show. My first extended run. I did a full 60 minute run with a five minute warm up. I ran about 5.8 miles total.

It's given me some confidence that I can conquer the 10k distance. I did it without joint pain, which was a really good sign. I've been training at the 5k distance and I have been dreading the added distance.

We'll see. I've been working with my trainer Sherri who has encouraged me to slow down a bit and add in the extra miles. She doesn't want me to burn out too early, just get in the miles right now. So far so good.
